Impact Wrestling *SPOILERS* for Shows Taped on 3/5/2017

Impact Wrestling taped more of their next round of television on Sunday in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios.   If you don't want these upcoming shows spoiled, don't read on!  Spoilers are courtesy, however, if you were in the building and have more information to contribute, we'd greatly appreciate an email to with that information.

Xplosion Taping:

  • Laredo Kid and Garza Jr. def. Bram and Kingston, Follah Boha and Bokara, and Reno Scum in a four way tag.  Garza got the pin with a middle rope moonsault

Jeremy Borash hyped a 4 on 4 tag match between teams representing each him and Josh Mathews.  If Mathews’ team lost, he would leave the Impact announce team.

ODB and MJ Jenkins def. Angelina Love and Laurel Van Ness.  Laurel was still in a wedding dress and carried around a champagne bottle.

JB announced a post-show autograph party, but Mathews said it wouldn’t happen.  After some arguing, Chris Masters came out and told Josh he’s sick of him complaining like a troll.  He threatened to put him in the Masterlock.

Impact Taping:

  • Alberto El Patron def. John Boland in a quick squash.  He called out Lashley afterward, but Lashley didn’t respond.
  • Josh and JB drafted their teams for the 4 on 4 match.  Josh reiterated he would leave if his team lost, but he’s not leaving.  Bruce Prichard oversaw the draft.
    • Josh picked Lashley, Bram, Eli Drake and Tyrus
    • JB picked El Patron, Chris Adonis (Chris Masters), the returning Magnus and Matt Morgan.

Xplosion Matches:

  • Reno Scum def. Garza Jr. and Laredo Kid and Decay
  • Mahabali Shera def. Fallah Baha

Bruce Prichard came out and named James Storm the No. 1 contender to Lashley.  EC3 came out to argue, and apparently there was a poll involved that gave it to Storm.  Bruce told him to go look at himself and how he lost to Patron (he tapped out).  Prichard asked if he tapped out in the match, or to himself.  EC3 said he would go to the back and ask himself how to get back to himself.

  • Allie and Braxton Sutter def. Sienna and Kevin Matthews.  Kongo attacked Sutter afterward, then we got another Laurel appearance when she and Sienna beat up Allie.
  • Andrew Everett def. Marshe Rockett, Suicide, and Gregory “Shane” Helms in a four-way.  Helms didn’t do much in the match.  Everett won with a shooting star press.
  • “Lone Wolf” Davey Richards (w/Angelina Love) def. DJ Z.  Eddie tried to attack but got held back.  Alisha attacked Angelina until officials broke things up.
  • Team JB (Alberto El Patron, Chris Adonis, Matt Morgan, and Magnus) def. Team Josh (Lashley, Bram, Eli Drake and Tyrus).  Magnus blind tagged in and hit an elbow on Bram for the win.  Fans sung the “nah nah na nah, good bye” song to Josh, who ranted about his wife (Madison Rayne) crying in the back but said he’s man of his word and left.  The faces celebrated to end the taping.
