Impact Wrestling Television Taping *SPOILERS* From 4/22/2017

Impact Wrestling taped television events over the weekend in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios.   The following are the results of Impact Wrestling weekly shows which were taped on April 22 (Saturday).  If you don't want these upcoming shows spoiled, don't read on!  Spoilers are courtesy ProWrestling.net, however, if you were in the building and have more information to contribute, we'd greatly appreciate an email to bwentz@ring-rap.com with that information.

Jeremy Borash is “suspended” indefinitely, so Josh Mathews and D’Angelo Dinero were on the call.  This is the May 12 show.

  • Andrew Everett def. Caleb Konoley, Dezmond Xavier, and Matt Sydal in a four-way match.
  • Alisha Edwards (w/Eddie Edwards) def. Angelina Love (w/Davey Richards) by DQ.  Angelina got caught using knucks to cause the DQ.
  • Impact Wrestling Tag Champions LAX (w/Diamante, Konnan, and Homicide) def. Garza Jr. and Laredo Kid.  Diamante hit Garza with a top rope huracanrana which led to LAX getting their blockbuster/powerbomb finish for the win.
  • Alberto El Patron def. Magnus to win the GFW Title.  Alberto got Magnus to tap to the cross arm breaker.
  • Mahabali Shera and Braxton Sutter (w/Allie) def. Kongo Kong and KM (w/Sierra and Laurel Van Ness).  Kong left the match and took Laurel with him.  Shera hit the Sky High to win.
  • Xplosion Match:  Dezmond Xavier def. Suicide with a swanton bomb.
  • Kongo Kong (w/Laurel Van Ness) def. Braxton Sutter (w/Allie). KM and Sienna came out and attacked, but Shera came out for the save.  Sutter challenged Kongo and KM to a tag match for “next week.” (may have been the earlier taped match).
  • There was a segment with LAX coming to the ring to somber music.  Konnan said it was symbolic of all the teams in the GFW tag title tournament.  He pie faced someone in the crowd who had an American flag.  VOW came to the ring to clear LAX.
  • There was a segment where Magnus joined commentary, and the match was supposed to be EC3 vs. James Storm.  Storm tried to use a belt but Magnus stopped him and got in his face.  Office staffers came to the ring and sent Magnus to the back.  EC3 got the belt and when referee Brian Stiffler tried to take it EC3 shoved him down and beat him with it.  Magnus came back and attacked Storm then got in EC3’s face.  Bruce Prichard came down and told them to knock it off and the main event of Slammiversary was off.  He made a three way match between Storm, EC3 and Magnus for next week then told EC3 to go to the back and find his balls.  EC3 attacked him before officials pulled him off.
  • JB announced that he was reinstated and he hired Joseph Park as his attorney.  He proposed a match between him and JB vs. Josh Mathews and a partner.  Josh left.
  • Low Ki def. Andrew Everett and Trevor Lee (w/Gregory Shane Helms) in a three-way Ultimate X match to retain the X-Division championship.
