UFC 211 Bout Scrapped Due to Injury

In a report via ESPN.com, the Sergio Pettis vs. Henry Cejudo bout scheduled for the UFC 211 pay per view event on Saturday has been pulled from the card.  The event takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX and is scheduled to feature Stipe Miocic (16-2) vs. Junior dos Santos (18-4) for the heavyweight championship.

Cejudo (10-2) was forced out of the fight due to a hand injury.  Exact details of the injury were not noted, but UFC officials did confirm the news.  Pettis (15-2) intends to make weight at the Friday weigh-ins in order to receive his show money.

The fight was scheduled to open the pay per view portion of the card, but will now be replaced by David Branch (20-3) vs. Krzystof Jotko (19-1), which was moved up from the preliminary card.
