WWE.com issued an update on the condition of Big Cass, who injured his knee on Monday night in a Brooklyn Street Fight against former tag partner Enzo Amore. Cass injured his leg as he tumbled to the outside of the ring when Enzo pulled the ropes down to avoid a big boot. It appears that Cass has torn the ACL and possibly the medial meniscus in his left knee and will require surgery.
It was noted that Cass would be undergoing surgery this week and begin recovery from the injuries. Dr. Chris Robinson, WWE’s ringside doctor, noted that the recovery would take approximately nine months.
